Cameron commenced legal practice in 1997 as an article clerk. He completed articles and graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws in 1999. He was admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland in April 2000 and to the High Court of Australia in 2004.
Since admission Cameron has practiced extensively in litigation developing expertise in commercial litigation and estate litigation.He has conducted matters in all jurisdictions ranging from the Queensland Consumer and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) to the Queensland Court of Appeal.
Prior to working in the legal field Cameron completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Griffith University in 1991 and was employed by a major financial institution until 1997.
This experience allows him an understanding of commercial matters. Cameron has practiced and worked exclusively on the Gold Coast and is aware of and appreciates the commercial landscape of the region.
He has been active in the Gold Coast community having being a volunteer Surf Lifesaver for over 25 years being involved in competition, administrative and patrolling duties.
